WILEYVILLE MAN TAKEN BY DEATH
William Leonard Moore, 67, died wednesday morning at his home in Wileyville after a
lengthy illness.A native of Wileyville, he was born May 22, 1879, a son of the late John
and Mary Welling Moore. He was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services were
held at the home. Interement was made in the Moore cemetery by Palmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife Mrs. Sarah Moore; seven sons, Burl, Austin, John and
Norman, all of Wileyville; Grover and Leslie Moore of Moundsville; and Harley Moore,
with the Army in Japan; one brother, Isaac Moore of Ohio; and one Sister, Mrs. Ida Yoho,
Wileyville.
